Marex Broadcast Systems is a privately held company established in 1995 that developed over the years a broad expertise in software development related to the broadcast industry and the computer based multimedia display.
Marex offers its OEMs a set of core products that provides them with quick turnaround for their own development. Marex focuses on the details and offers the OEM a higher level of abstraction - the level they normally expect as the goal of the OEM is to provide solutions and not reinvest the wheel. The goal at Marex is to partner with our OEMs and not just be another vendor. We listen to your needs, come up with fix and enhancements very quickly and we also provide technical expertise when required.
Recognizing that SDKs are harder to use and learn and take more time to get a product to market, Marex packages its technologies within Windows based services called engines that are easy to control and learn but still provide great flexibility. These engines are controlled using a TCP/IP interface or a direct vShare interface so local and remote (web based) client applications are supported. All engine come with a sample application written in DotNet C# and a DotNet DLL to control the engine without having to deal with TCP/IP communication. C++ code can also be provided when needed.
